Imtiaz Ahmed
Scoring over 2000 runs in just 41 Tests, Imtiaz Ahmed went on to become the first wicketkeeper-batsman to score a double-century in Test cricket after he scored 209 against New Zealand in 1955.
Like many of the players in Pakistan’s first Cricket team, Ahmed too had played domestic Cricket in British India, he had been part of the Ranjhi Trophy.
Imtiaz Ahmed also has a triple-century to his name after he scored 300* against the Commonwealth XI while playing for the Prime Minister’s XI in 1951.
